Bell towers played an important role in the life of villages – their ringing rang in the morning, noon and evening, and also in case of serious events such as death or fire. They were places of prayers and consolation, but also of neighborly encounters.
Bell Tower Na Bystrém is one of the oldest in the village of Trojanovice. Its bell from 1796 is a cultural monument. Its original is in the archives of the local municipal office. There is a copy on the bell tower. The original of the bell tower was smaller and very simple. It was built into its present form in the 1950´s by carpenters Josef Káňa and Valentin Strandel.
